As 2025 comes to a close, it has been a landmark year for WebDevBuilders—defined by growth, innovation, community involvement, and meaningful collaboration across the SME and tech sectors.
One of the standout moments of the year was the inaugural Limerick IT Summit, held in March. The event exceeded expectations and demonstrated a strong appetite for a regional, community-led technology summit. It brought together SMEs, business leaders, and technology professionals from across the region and has already begun to make a lasting impact.
The summit will return on 26 February 2026, hosted at Dell Technologies, with the theme “Your AI Transformation Toolkit.” The 2026 event will focus on equipping SMEs and business leaders with practical insights and connections to navigate the next phase of digital transformation.
Building on this momentum, WebDevBuilders also announced the launch of the Midwest Tech Fest on 15 June 2025. Taking place across February and March 2026, this four-week celebration of technology, innovation, and collaboration will feature a mix of flagship events and community-led sessions. The festival will open with the Limerick IT Summit and aims to position the Midwest as a growing hub for tech-led innovation.
Throughout 2025, WebDevBuilders had the privilege of working with a wide range of clients across multiple sectors. Some of the organisations collaborated with during the year included Aisling Annacotty AFC, Angobha, Believe in Wellness, BubbleClean, Coffey & Co Accountants, Ancient Spiritual Tours, AV2ST, DJ Evan Kilmartin, EmployAbility Limerick, Get It Across PR, InternsPlus, Kinnegar Wines, Limerick Opera Festival, Mac Domhnaill Dental, Mack Engineering, Master HR Solutions, Midwest Tech Fest, Rathkeale & District Men’s Shed, Rotary Club of Limerick North Munster, Southill Hub, The Digital Human, and Touchstore.
Each project reflected a shared commitment to creating digital platforms that support growth, purpose, and connection.

The year also brought notable recognition. WebDevBuilders was shortlisted for the CSR: Community Impact Award at the Limerick Chamber Regional Business Awards 2025, standing alongside organisations such as Dell Technologies and BD Research Centre Ireland. The nomination reflected the company’s ongoing work with organisations including Limerick Mental Health Association, Rathkeale Men’s Shed, Cliona’s Foundation, and the Limerick IT Summit.
In addition, WebDevBuilders was ranked No. 2 in Best Web Design Companies in Ireland by BestinIreland.com.
There was also reason to celebrate individual achievements. Company photographer Keith Wiseman won 3rd place in the Public Relations category at the AIB Press Photographer of the Year Awards 2025 for his image “Admiral of the River Shannon.”
CEO Christopher Heaney was featured in The Business Press as one of Ireland’s “CEOs to Watch,” recognising his leadership and focus on innovation and digital transformation. Christopher also officially joined the Rotary Club of Limerick North Munster, further strengthening WebDevBuilders’ commitment to community engagement.
On a personal note, 2025 also marked a special milestone for Christopher, who married his wife Eilíbhín during the year.
A highlight of the year was presenting €2,569 to Limerick Mental Health Association, raised during the inaugural Limerick IT Summit. WebDevBuilders also welcomed the opportunity to meet Senator Maria Byrne and Minister Emer Higgins during their official visit to Limerick.
As the year drew to a close, the company supported the Limerick North Munster Rotary Remembrance Tree on Bedford Row, reinforcing its ongoing focus on community and connection.
2025 was a year of strong foundations and ambitious beginnings. With the return of the Limerick IT Summit, the launch of Midwest Tech Fest, and continued collaboration across the region, WebDevBuilders looks ahead to 2026 with momentum and purpose.
